Employers & employability

One of the key themes that research teams focussed on was working with employers to develop their training programmes. This development of a ‘two-way street’ between employers and vocational education and training (VET) providers was a key recommendation from ‘It’s About Work’, the 2013 report from the Commission on Adult Vocational Teaching and Learning (CAVTL). The Development and Innovation in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Exhibition site also contains case studies, reports and videos demonstrating key aspects of effective and innovative employer-provider partnerships.
